Procurement CoordinatorThe Procurement Coordinator is responsible for supporting procurement and materials planning activities to ensure the timely availability of materials required for production and operational needs. This role coordinates with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage purchase orders, resolve material issues, maintain accurate inventory levels, and promote efficient supply chain operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Execute standardized procurement processes and procedures in alignment with Company policies.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key suppliers to support reliable material flow and service performance.Analyze material requirements and plan purchases to support production schedules while meeting inventory objectives.Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Monitor supplier performance and proactively address issues such as shortages, delays, pricing discrepancies, and quality concerns.Partner with Quality and suppliers to assist in the resolution of material-related product issues.Coordinate with internal departments including Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Quality, and Finance to ensure alignment on material needs and order status.Collaborate with buyers, logistics providers, and accounting to facilitate efficient order processing and problem resolution.Maintain accurate procurement data and prepare routine materials and purchasing reports for management review.Support inventory management efforts by aligning material availability with production and planning requirements.Ensure customer shipping instructions and documentation requirements are accurately communicated and fulfilled.Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain operations.Perform other duties as assigned.Education:High school diploma/GED or equivalent.Experience:1-3 years' experience working in procurement required.EEOC StatementFoxconn is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
