This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral, FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.Key activities you will accomplish in this role: On a day to day basis, the selected candidate will support the FBM EGSE organization by designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting hardware for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).To be effective in this role, you will need:A Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.3+ years of professional experience.Although no clearance is required to start, a Secret clearance must be obtained and maintained; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.Basic QualificationsWorking knowledge or experience in the design, test, integration, and deployment of electronics equipment.Experience performing circuit design and analysis.Experience developing design artifacts such as requirements matrix, reports, SDRLs and drawings.Proficiency with basic test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and electronic loads.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US citizenship is required. Desired SkillsExperience with project management on space‑ and/or missile‑defense missions.Testing avionics, electronic components, or electrical systems using purpose‑designed test equipment.Design, test, programming, and integration/deployment of automated test equipment (ATE).Creation, interpretation, and capture of electronic‑systems schematics using Siemens, Zuken or similar tools.Experience with PSpice or other electronic‑circuit simulation tools.Performing electronics analyses such as Worst‑Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, and Failure‑Modes‑and‑Effects Critical Analysis (FMECA).Adaptable to new situations and able to take initiative when solving complex problems.Effective collaborator in diverse team environments.Strong presentation and written‑communication skills.Active Secret clearanceProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practicePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
