Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving schools in the San Juan Capistrano area as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). In this role, you’ll make a difference at the preschool, elementary, or middle school level, supporting students on leave-of-absence caseloads. Assignments align with three temporary leaves, each averaging about 55 students, and there’s a high likelihood of extending through the end of the school year based on district needs.

Choose from placements at a preschool, an elementary school, or a middle school—each offering the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators, engage with diverse student populations, and positively impact communication outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current, active California SLP license
• School-based SLP experience, especially in working with preschool, elementary, or middle school students, highly beneficial
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to school-aged children, supporting IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
