IBD Specialist

About this role:

As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will join an established Inflammatory Bowel Disease practice that is part of a nationally recognized health system and is Utahs most extensive health care network, offering top-tier patient care. The expanding multidisciplinary IBD team is led by an IBD Medical Director and includes an IBD Registered Dietitian, an IBD RN, and a comprehensive care model. The practice is experiencing significant growth and has an excellent tertiary-referral base to the IBD clinic, comprised of employed and affiliated PCPs, GI providers and colorectal surgeons.

• This position includes a starting base salary of $650,000/annually, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, a $1,500 monthly training stipend for up to two years and up to $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable and future AEC opportunities are also available

• You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, choose a subspecialist gastroenterology track inIBD and will dedicate at least 50% of clinical care time to IBD care.
\n
• Your call schedule is shared with group and expected at minimum of 1:5 w/ additional call pay for extra call shifts
\n
• This clinic is supported by a network of affiliated, Intermountain Medical Group primary care and specialty care physicians and a 1:2 APP to Physician ratio
\n
• The GI department holds monthly GI educational conferences including IBD case conference, GI multidisciplinary conferences, annual gastroenterology conferences
\n
• You will have opportunities to be involved in community outreach programming, rural telehealth program and opportunities to be involved in clinical research, if desired
\n

What youll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
\n

• U.S. ACGME Residency training in Internal Medicine
\n

\n
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicinespecializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) or Gastroenterology
\n

\n
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
\n

\n
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
\n

\n
• Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
