The Link is a community triage center located in Sioux Falls that assists individuals experiencing a non‑violent behavioral health crisis, seeking treatment for substance abuse disorders, or searching for support services. As a community triage center, The Link meets the individual’s critical service needs and links them to mental health or substance abuse resources. An extra monthly payment of $167 (up to $10,000) helps pay down principal faster. Shift Schedule Typical shifts: 7:00 am–7:00 pm or 7:00 pm–7:00 am, 72 hrs/2 weeks. Overview Delivers nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis, establishing care objectives, defining interventions, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends. Responsibilities Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions, communicating the nursing care plan, and coordinating with other healthcare providers Obtains medical histories, examines patients, documents conditions, and confers with families to develop nursing diagnoses, objectives, and interventions Teaches healthcare requirements, instructs patients and families, answers questions, and provides resources Evaluates patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes, and re‑evaluating goals Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment through infection‑control policies, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations Documents services by charting in patient and department records Maintains patient care equipment and supplies, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and ordering necessary items Maintains competence in nursing capabilities as outlined by leadership Essential Qualifications Must be able to work the specified hours, perform essential job functions, have visual acuity adequate to perform duties, and communicate effectively with others.
