Regular team meetings and case conferences will be conducted virtually to ensure ongoing collaboration and professional support. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account each patient's unique cultural background and personal experiences, thereby developing customized treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs through modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to help clients address mental health concerns and reinforce resilience. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive patient care and ensure that all aspects of treatment are coordinated. Provide timely crisis intervention and support during emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques to assist clients in distress. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can assist their recovery journey. Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards, while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient case management. Participate in cultural competency training sessions and team-building activities, fostering an environment of continuous learning. Stay informed about current research, emerging best practices, and contemporary cultural considerations that impact mental health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus At Silver Lining Therapies, we primarily serve individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including those from the LGBTQ+ community and immigrant populations. This role requires a genuine commitment to culturally responsive care, ensuring that all patients feel valued, understood, and respected throughout their therapeutic journey. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required. A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas is mandatory. A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches and mental health disorders, coupled with demonstrated cultural competence in therapy. Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy while adapting methods to meet the cultural needs of clients. Exceptional crisis intervention skills with a capacity to remain calm and effective in challenging situations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients from a variety of backgrounds. Familiarity with EHR systems and the ability to adapt to various technological tools. A genuine commitment to upholding ethical guidelines, maintaining confidentiality, and fostering professional boundaries. Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred. Proven track record of working effectively with diverse populations in mental health settings. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
