I started working for my father in this store 23 years ago and bought the store when he retired 5 years ago. Job Description

Job Title: Automotive Technician - A Level Tech

Location: 1826 Memorial Blvd. Murfreesboro, TN 37129

Job Overview: We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technician we are looking for has to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests. They need to be able to complete 40+ labor hours weekly while diagnosing complex issues.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
• Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
• Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
• Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
• Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
• Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
• Drive manual transmission vehicles
• Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
• Efficiently navigate a computer

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
• Excel at diagnostics and drive-ability problems.
• ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
• Meet or exceed 40 hours per week
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
• Professional appearance and strong communication - willing to work in a customer centric, team-oriented atmosphere
• Current driver's license
