Details Acute care hospital setting with a Level III Trauma Center, Level II Stroke Center, and Level II STEMI Center designation CT Scan department Variable 4x10 hour shifts Weekend hours as needed Call requirements as needed Float requirements as needed EMR: Epic Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience Current BLS certification required Active license required, if applicable Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documentation of scheduled renewal is provided A valid U.S. Social Security Number is required — Canadian SINs are not accepted No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by a radiologist Assist the radiologist in special CT procedures and provide patient care essential to CT scan procedures Apply principles of radiation protection Black scrubs required Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate Candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after that, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID #P-706140.
