We are seeking a skilled Machinist with at least three years of experience in setup, operation, and program editing of CNC mills and lathes. This position requires the operation of various machines, including numerically controlled vertical and turning centers, tube lathes, band saws, abrasive saws, and tie rod machines. The role involves cleaning, de-burring, masking, painting of cylinders, material handling, general housekeeping, and removal of chips from machines.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate numerically controlled vertical and turning centers, tube lathes, band saws, abrasive saws, and tie rod machines.
- Perform cleaning, de-burring, masking, and painting of cylinders.
- Handle materials and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Remove chips from machines and perform operations within the capability of the machines.
- Operate Mazak Integrex Machining Center with 4th axis, if applicable.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC vertical mills or horizontal lathes.
- 3+ years of experience working off of blueprints.
- 3+ years of experience using micrometers and calipers.
- Proficiency in Mazak Integrex 5-axis Machining Center.

Work Environment
The work environment is unionized, focusing on running machines, loading parts, and gathering tools and materials for specific jobs. Candidates can choose between 1st shift (6:30 AM - 3 PM) or 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) based on their needs or preferences.

Pay and Benefits
