Senior Accountant

Description As a Senior Accountant at Stirista, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for a range of accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of general ledger balances. Perform A/P, A/R, and expense report functions as necessary. Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation. Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management. Review A/R and assist with collections efforts. Assist with the preparation for and coordination of audits. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with tax filings. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, as needed. Participate in special projects and ad‑hoc reporting as required. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables). Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Marketing industry experience. Experience with QuickBooks Online. Compensation and Benefits The final salary offer for this position will be uniquely determined by the combination of candidate’s work location, specialized skills, and seniority, in addition to a review of internal salary benchmarks to ensure fair and competitive pay.
