Special Procedure Technologist

We are seeking a Special Procedure Technologist to assist the nursing and physician teams in coordinating and performing interventional radiology examinations. Key Responsibilities Include Preparing and completing departmental and non-departmental radiology procedures Ensuring quality control and patient comfort during procedures Collaborating with physicians on proper orders, requisitions, and lab results Managing technical exposure factors to minimize radiation risk Maintaining radiation safety and coordinating continuing education Qualifications And Skills Required Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP licenses Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred Procedural interventional radiology experience is advantageous This is a full-time, day shift position requiring on-call and weekend rotations.
