Chick-fil-A Twelve Oaks in Novi is hiring an experienced Cook to join our Back of House team. This is a role for someone who takes pride in cooking to standard, moves with urgency, and helps set the pace in the kitchen. Food safety and food quality are non-negotiable here — if that's how you already work, you'll fit right in. Pay: $19.00 / hour Shift Window: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM Availability: Weekends required Experience: Required (QSR, fast-casual, or scratch kitchen) What You'll Do Cook every product to Chick-fil-A quality and hold time standards Execute breading, breakfast, grilled, and fryer stations with speed and accuracy Follow food safety protocols — temperatures, glove changes, cross-contamination prevention, and cook logs Complete Icon checks and product-quality verifications every shift Keep stations clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift Communicate hold times, waste, and equipment issues to the Shift Coach Support opening procedures, breakfast-to-lunch transition, and mid-day resets Set the pace and standard for other BOH team members What You Bring Prior cook or high-volume kitchen experience is required Working knowledge of food safety practices and willingness to earn ServSafe certification Reliable availability from 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, including Saturdays Ability to stand, lift 40+ lbs, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to detail and pride in food quality Team-first attitude with a hospitality mindset Why Chick-fil-A Twelve Oaks Closed every Sunday Competitive starting pay at $19/hr Free meals on shift Scholarship opportunities Leadership development and career growth Flexible scheduling around the shift window Positive, hospitality-driven team culture Modern equipment and a clean, well-run kitchen Chick-fil-A Twelve Oaks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
