Registered Nurse - NICU / Labor & Delivery / ED / Intensive Care

Job Description

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education, and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate interventions for patients. This is a 13-week contract position with variable shifts, including possible weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation.
• Develop a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
• Implement the identified plan of care.
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice systematically.
• Evaluate one's own nursing practice in relation to professional standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and others in the conduct of nursing practice.
• Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice.
• Provide leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Montana Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider STABLE certification.
• One year of nursing experience in NICU, Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care.

Schedule

Variable shift with possible weekends and holidays.
