This short-term role supports a three-week project in Haymarket, VA, focused on installing multiple HVAC systems. You will contribute to the successful installation of four split systems and two furnace units, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Install four split HVAC systems in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Install two furnace units, ensuring proper placement, secure mounting, and correct connections.
• Assist with layout, measurement, and preparation work prior to installing HVAC equipment.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment to complete HVAC installations safely and efficiently.
• Verify proper operation of installed systems by performing basic testing and checks as directed.
• Follow mechanical drawings, instructions, and guidance from project leads or supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the duration of the project.
• Comply with all safety procedures and site rules while working on the project location.
• Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues that arise during installation.

• Proven experience with HVAC installation, including split systems and furnace units.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with tools and mechanical systems.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, drawings, and specifications for HVAC installations.
• Capability to safely handle and install HVAC components in a construction or project environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and reliable system performance.

• Previous experience on short-term or project-based HVAC assignments.
• Familiarity with basic testing and verification of HVAC system operation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small installation team.
• Strong problem-solving skills when addressing on-site installation challenges.

Work Environment

This role is based on-site in Haymarket, VA, for an estimated three-week project duration. You will work in a construction or mechanical installation environment, using standard HVAC tools and equipment to install split systems and furnace units. The work may involve standing, bending, lifting, and working in both indoor and semi-outdoor areas as required by the project. Hours and shifts follow typical construction or project schedules, with the expectation that you arrive prepared in appropriate work attire suitable for a hands-on HVAC installation setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Haymarket, VA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Haymarket,VA.
