ICU Registered Nurse - NightsThis position requires a night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 20:00 to 08:30.MarylandThis is an 8-week contract position.The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:2, potentially up to 3 patients with lower acuity. Common diagnoses include Sepsis, Pneumonia, and other multi-system organ failure conditions.Monitor and manage critical patient conditions.Administer medications and IV therapies.Assist with various medical procedures including bronchoscopies and tracheostomy care.Provide emergency care and manage life support equipment.Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team members.Document patient care accurately in the Epic charting system.Undertake on-call responsibilities as needed.Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required; first-time travelers accepted.Active RN Maryland state license or compact license.Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI.Experience with charting in the Epic system is necessary.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
