Buyer St. Louis, MO Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $25 per hour Work Model: Onsite - onsite Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM (occasional weekends may be required) System One is seeking a Buyer to join our team for a contract to hire opportunity in St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities Provide material and freight cost estimates to support project planning Monitor and fulfill purchase requests in a timely manner Analyze supplier offers for best cost savings and delivery outcomes Collaborate with suppliers and project teams to resolve issues Maintain reporting on delivery commitments and outstanding items Follow up with suppliers and teams to ensure timely resolution Report supplier performance metrics to internal teams Facilitate change orders through the purchasing system Manage product returns and warranty exchanges Work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing discrepancies Ensure accurate and complete communication on order status and delivery Accurately allocate time and costs to the appropriate project budget Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred) 0-2 years of experience in a Buyer or Purchasing Agent role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) Experience using purchasing software or ERP systems Strong negotiation skills for pricing, terms, and vendor agreements Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
