Role Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals perform patient imaging using advanced radiation detection equipment analyze data, and provide images and patient information for diagnostic interpretation Ensure patient care is appropriate to age and condition, practice aseptic techniques, follow departmental policies, and complete accurate documentation after each case Qualifications Associate Degree, registered as a Radiographer (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) current BLS certification within 30 days ACLS certification is also required within 30 days of employment Skills Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation, patient care, infection control, and imaging procedures Ability to work within scope of practice, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain precise documentation Key Duties Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures handle radioactive materials safely collaborate with physicians ensure compliance with infection control standards to support accurate diagnoses and patient safety #J-18808-Ljbffr
