Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Coordinate care effectively by collaborating with various providers and community agencies, advocating for clients’ needs in a considerate and professional manner.

• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing effective therapeutic techniques to facilitate open communication and healing.

• Document treatment plans and clinical notes accurately, maintaining up-to-date medical records in compliance with established policies.

• Serve as a consultant for multidisciplinary teams, offering insights and support that enhance the overall treatment approach.

• Plan for client discharge, ensuring smooth transitions into community resources and ongoing care when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult and geriatric clients, providing therapy that addresses their unique challenges and needs. As the practice evolves, you may also engage with child and adolescent clients, broadening the scope of your therapeutic skills and impact. Your work will emphasize creating a safe and nurturing space where all clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
