PA Licensed Psychologists (PhD or PsyD) – Pre-Hire Psychological Evaluators About National Testing Network (NTN): National Testing Network (NTN) is a national leader in public safety testing and assessment, partnering with law enforcement, fire service, corrections, dispatch, and other public safety agencies across the United States. In 2024 alone, more than 85,000 candidates completed NTN assessments. To further support agency hiring, NTN provides standardized pre-employment psychological evaluations conducted by licensed psychologists. Our mission is to help agencies make informed hiring decisions while maintaining the highest standards of clinical integrity, professionalism, and public safety. Position Overview: NTN is seeking licensed Psychologists (PhD or PsyD) to join our growing national network of contracted pre-employment psychological evaluators. This fully remote contract position offers exceptional flexibility, allowing evaluators to accept cases based on their availability while focusing exclusively on the clinical aspects of the evaluation process. NTN provides standardized interview guides, report templates, testing administration, scheduling, candidate communications, informed consent, and administrative support. Evaluators currently provide services for agencies in Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, California, and additional states as our partnerships continue to expand. Responsibilities: Review candidate assessment results, including personality and psychological testing designed specifically for public safety applicants. Conduct structured clinical interviews using NTN’s standardized interview protocols. Integrate psychological testing, interview findings, and referral information into comprehensive pre-employment psychological evaluation reports. Prepare professional reports utilizing NTN’s standardized templates and recommendations. Consult with NTN’s Psychological Services team as needed regarding complex clinical cases. Qualifications: Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited or equivalent program. Current unrestricted psychologist license in one or more U.S. states. PSYPACT participation is preferred for multi-state evaluation opportunities. Experience conducting psychological, forensic, or public safety evaluations is preferred. Strong clinical interviewing, report writing, and diagnostic conceptualization skills. Interest in public safety psychology and occupational fitness-for-duty assessments. Compensation: Approximately 2 hours of clinical work per completed evaluation. Flexible case volume based on evaluator availability and licensure. Why Join NTN?
