CNC Set-Up / Operator

Location: St. Louis, MO

Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift | Start Time: 5:00 AM- 1pm Monday-Friday

We're seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up/Operator to support a busy manufacturing and foundry operation. This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist who can confidently set up and operate CNC equipment while bringing enough programming knowledge to make basic edits and support continuous process improvements.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Load materials, install tooling, and prepare machines for production runs
• Make machine offsets and basic program edits as needed
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain quality
• Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Set-Up Technician, or CNC Operator
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup and operation
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and precision measurements
• Basic CNC programming or editing experience preferred
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a 5:00 AM start schedule

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
