PTA / Physical Therapist Assistant

Overview Where: San Antonio, TX, covering the Hill Country / Boerne area. Schedule: PRN with transition to full-time. Adoration Home Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver patient‑centered care in a supportive, flexible environment. Consult regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding the patient’s plan of treatment, progress status, and any questions or concerns. Communicate the patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assist in securing special adaptive equipment to improve function, incorporating adaptive equipment into the rehabilitation program. Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in the required format and within timelines mandated by the Company, facility, funding source, and local, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, as required by state regulations. Preferred: a minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
