Welder PositionOur client, manufacturing is seeking a welder to join their team. As a welder, you will be part of the production team supporting full-time temporary operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality, the ability to follow welding and inspection requirements, and the drive to keep certifications current—which will align successfully in the organization.What's the Job?Welds production and less difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials, including stainless steel and precious or semi-precious metals, using welding processes such as TIG and/or MIG.May operate a program welding machine to weld production units and assist the program welding operator when workload requires it.Performs welding that must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements for each individual product.Sets up fixtures and lays out work for production and prototype piece parts to ensure accurate assembly.Performs miscellaneous production support work as required to keep operations moving.What's Needed?Ability to weld to certification requirements and maintain individual welding qualification and certification per product needs.Comfort working with stainless steel and precious or semi-precious metals using TIG and/or MIG welding processes.Willingness to support both production and prototype work, including setup, layout, and fixture preparation.Ability to follow testing and quality expectations, including destructive and non-destructive testing requirements.Open availability for overtime and weekends as needed, with a Monday to Friday schedule of 5:00 am - 3:30 pm (overtime/weekend support may apply).What's in it for me?Opportunity to build and apply welding skills across production and prototype instrumentation piece parts.Clear quality expectations tied to certification and testing requirements, helping you take pride in work that meets standards.Hands-on experience working with TIG/MIG welding and program welding support when needed.Structured work schedule with night shift coverage (19:24-21:20) and potential overtime/weekend support.A role where maintaining welding qualification and certification is valued and directly connected to success on the job.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
