Sr Specialist, Product Strategy

In this role, the Product Strategy Sr. Specialist will act as a "Product Champion," serving as a technical marketing expert supporting Canon Americas Production Print sales distribution channels to achieve revenue, unit, profit and market share targets. This position requires a strategic thinker who can execute on the digital press B2 inkjet sheetfed product lifecycle, create and execute end‑to‑end product strategy marketing plans and be an expert in competitive intelligence. This role will be instrumental in driving the future product roadmap for Canon's sheetfed B2 market by synthesizing inputs from the "voice of the customer," sales, market trends, and competitive intelligence. This position requires seasoned product marketing and/or commercial print experience. Responsibilities Strategy Development: Drive the future product roadmap representing the Americas by synthesizing inputs from the "voice of the customer," sales, market trends, and competitive intelligence. Manage lifecycle strategies. LIfecycle Governance: Execute and lead product lifecycle initiatives in collaboration with Product Planning, core cross‑functional teams and other inter‑company departments. Product Strategy Marketing: Create and execute end‑to‑end product strategy plans, including positioning, messaging, and development of high‑impact sales tools from launch through end‑of‑life. Competitive Intelligence: Gather qualitative feedback to refine strategy and educate the sales force through various sales tools, communication channels and training initiatives. End‑2‑End Solution Development: Work closely with other product managers and HQ manufacturing on complete end‑to‑end solutions to enable volume growth, overall equipment efficiency, and application versatility. Product Champion: Serve as technical product marketing expert to support all Canon Americas Production Print distribution channels, perform customer product demonstrations and support industry events and trade shows. Product Training: Work closely with sales training to develop and deliver comprehensive product training. Prepare and present product presentations suitable for executive audience. Qualifications Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Printing, a related technical major, or a related field. Experience in inkjet and commercial print industry. Experience in sales, marketing, research and development, or solution management specifically focused on production inkjet solutions in the printing industry. Experience managing multi‑million dollar business responsibilities. Technical aptitude. Ability to work in high‑pressure, demanding, fast‑paced environment. Up to 20% travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary), including overnight stays. Limited international travel possible. Hybrid work environment with specified office days. Language proficiencies a plus for Latin America support. Required location: commutable to Boca Raton, FL. Salary: $92,210 - $138,080 annually.
