Now Hiring Maintenance Technician - Direct Hire Location: Ball Ground, GA Pay Rate: $30.50 - $31.00 per hour Schedule Details: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | $30.50/hr. | $0.50/hr. increase after 90 days 3rd Shift | Monday - Friday | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM | $31/hr. Will be required to work one half day per month on a Saturday. Schedule is provided well in advance. Job Duties Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and production machinery. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime. Diagnose equipment issues using testing and diagnostic tools. Repair, adjust, and replace components to maintain optimal equipment performance. Partner with operations and production teams to improve reliability and efficiency. Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed repairs. Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Technical training, trade school certification, or related maintenance education preferred. Additional training in electrical systems, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing technology is a plus. Experience Requirements Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of 3-phase power, electrical controls, sensors, relays, motors, and wiring systems . Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings . Experience using diagnostic tools, including multimeters and electrical testing equipment . Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, gearbox, and mechanical systems . Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with production teams. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel throughout the shift. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Work safely around moving machinery and industrial equipment.
