Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry in San Francisco, California. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including clinical assessments, performing procedures such as IV insertions, Foley catheter management, and patient education. The position requires the ability to float to Medical-Surgical units and Telemetry, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.

Job Details:

• Location: San Francisco, California
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (07:00 AM 07:30 PM)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, CA RN Licensure
• Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED).
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, EMR experience in Epic and Cerner systems, previous charge experience, and experience in a Hospital setting.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be willing to float to Medical-Surgical units and Telemetry when not utilized in the emergency department holding area. The candidate should have strong trauma, teaching hospital, and EMR experience.
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required.
• Submission Requirements:
  • Valid CA RN license uploaded via Nursys within the last 2 weeks
  • Applicable certifications with valid expiration dates uploaded
  • Two references obtained within the last year
  • PALS certification to be included in the sub packet if not already submitted
• Onboarding & Compliance: Labs must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing; all compliance documents due 10 days prior to start; 7-year work history verification required.
