About the Job: The Tax intern will be responsible for the assisting the U.S. income tax compliance team and gain valuable hands‑on experience in the tax field. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates to apply their academic knowledge in a real‑world setting, supporting a range of tax and accounting activities for our Yum! Brands. You will be required to attend the Louisville, KY office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). Salary Range: Hourly pay is $20.00 - $28.00 (based on year in school). This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job‑related factors. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities: Assist with federal, state and local income tax notice responses. Assist with gathering tax return information to support third party service providers. Prepare federal and state quarterly excise tax returns. Provide federal and state audit support by gathering tax return and supporting workpaper data.
