The Primary Spotter is where the recovery process begins. This role is focused on volume and is responsible for locating vehicles and generating the majority of recovery opportunities that lead our tow truck drivers to successful repossessions. As a key part of our operation, the Primary Spotter plays a direct role in driving company results and overall recovery success.

This is a field-based position where you’ll spend your nights driving assigned routes, locating vehicles, and communicating opportunities to our recovery teams. The role prioritizes newer, high-probability accounts to lead to a successful recovery while maintaining a tactical, low profile to help ensure vehicles do not move before they are recovered.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. If you enjoy being on the road, staying productive, and being rewarded for your results, this could be a great fit for you. This position requires drive and initiative; commission earnings are directly related to the effort you put in.

Key Responsibilities

·       Search for vehicles up for repossession within your assigned zones.

·       Target new accounts for recovery opportunities.

·       Maintain your zone to company standards; check in at least every 5 days and sustain 10% or lower of total assignments. Ensure every account/icon within your assigned zone is checked in at least once per week.

·       Communicate live recovery opportunities to field agents.

·       Use required technology efficiently and effectively.

·       Update account notes with accurate, timely information.

·       Recheck accounts within 3–5 days when additional recovery opportunities may exist.

·       Help support overall recovery success.

·       Meet minimum check-in requirements per night; minimum 8 hours each night; typical schedule is 10pm-6am overnights.

Keys to Success

·       Strong attention to detail and willingness to ask questions and learn from experienced investigators.

·       Consistently meet or exceed 20+ cars weekly.

·       Utilize Check-Ins properly and consistently throughout each shift.

·       Effectively use ClearPlan, Repo Report, and other company systems.

·     Communicate effectively with Recovery Agents.

Requirements

·       Valid Driver’s License

·       Clean Driving Record

·       Over the age of 23 due to Insurance Requirements

·       Ability to work independently for extended periods with minimal supervision

·       Awareness of environmental conditions and potential hazards

Preferred Experience

·       Prior Repossession experience

·       Foundational knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and body styles

Physical Requirements

·       Ability to sit and drive for extended periods

·       Ability to enter and exit a vehicle frequently

·       Ability to work in varying weather conditions
