A Day in the Life As a Tower Technician I, you will work as part of a close-knit field crew to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment for major networks. This is a high-adrenaline, physical outdoor position. Qualifications You do not need prior telecom experience, but you must be comfortable with the lifestyle: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. You must love a lifestyle on the road and be comfortable working at extreme heights. Telecom schedules change rapidly due to weather or critical project deadlines.
