Digital Content Producer

Overview Join the market's leading newsroom as a digital and social media content producer. You will contribute to content across digital and social media platforms and determine the content and its creative presentation on WSBT's website and social channels, such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube. You will work with the Digital Executive Producer and Assignment Desk to keep platforms updated. Responsibilities Create and curate content for WSBT’s digital and social platforms. Determine content strategy and its presentation on the website and social channels. Collaborate with the Digital Executive Producer and Assignment Desk to ensure timely updates across platforms. Represent the organization with accurate, compelling writing and strong newsroom judgment. Coordinate with team members to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Solid news judgment. Compelling and accurate writing ability. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to execute news strategies and goals daily. Flexibility and on-the-spot problem-solving abilities. Experience Previous experience in a commercial TV newsroom is preferred; entry-level candidates may be considered. Journalism degree is preferred.
