Account Specialist
Pay Rate: $35-$38 /hr DoE
Location: Remote in CT area with occasional site visits to East Hartford, CT
Start Date: Right Away

Responsibilities
- Procurement and supplier management for assigned hardware and components supporting multiple engine programs
- Manage supplier on-time delivery, capacity ramp plans, and leading performance indicators to support production schedules
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers, leading issue resolution, escalation, and recovery plans
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Continuous Improvement, and Production Readiness teams
- Maintain uninterrupted supply flow while meeting cost, schedule, quality, and contractual commitments
- Lead business continuity planning and supplier improvement initiatives
- Execute standard procurement activities including demand planning, order placement, scheduling, and delivery assurance
- Ensure compliance with Global Supply Chain standard work, international trade compliance, and RTX Code of Ethics
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field
- Experience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain operations
- Experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated industrial environments (a plus)
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred
Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple supplier accounts and competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including email, phone, and presentation interaction
- U.S. citizenship required to access controlled systems and programs
- Knowledge of supplier performance management, capacity planning, and production readiness
- Familiarity with international trade compliance and supply chain risk mitigation is preferred
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills is a plus
