Web Application Security Engineer

Job Description

This position is within the Inbound Web Application Security Engineering Team. Responsibilities include configuring and supporting layer 7 web security controls (rate limiting, web application firewall (WAF), bot, client lists, geolocation, mTLS, certificates) in support of internet-facing web applications. In depth knowledge and experience with Web Applications, and Web Application Security Controls required. Must have solid understanding of DNS, geographic, and local load balancing and firewall policies supporting Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and resolve issues across complex, multi-layer enterprise systems. Prior experience working in a product model using JIRA/Kanban. Experience working with enterprise change management.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a hybrid position in Charlotte,NC.
