Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Using teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture that puts people first, you will help create a welcoming, well-managed environment while supporting daily operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident documentation, and patrol records while supporting a professional environment for personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
