: Position Title: Communications and Marketing Coordinator Reports to: Director of Communications and Marketing Status: Full Time, Non-exempt Grade Level: Level 7 Salary: $23.50 per hour, plus generous PTO and benefits package Additional Compensation: Starting at base rate of pay $23.50 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour more for bilingual language that is needed at Neighborhood House Company Overview: Neighborhood House believes that communities and neighborhoods thrive when families have the opportunity to build safe, stable, and rewarding lives. Today, we serve more than 15,000 people each year through our integrated programs in six St. Paul neighborhoods. Program Summary: Today, Neighborhood House has big dreams, and we need help to achieve them. Our organization is ready for the next step in communications and marketing. We are looking for the right person to help us develop a communications and marketing strategy that is based on data analysis and donor trends, as well as people-centered and mission-driven. This position will work closely with the Director of Communications and Marketing. The Communications and Marketing Coordinator will be a member of our Advancement Team. Neighborhood House has a staff of nearly 70 people, 13 of them on the Advancement team. We are a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about our work and the families and neighborhoods we serve. You conduct yourself with humor, compassion, and a can-do attitude. Position Summary The Communications and Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting fundraising and community engagement. The position assists the Director of Communications and Marketing in carrying out a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy. Primary duties include content creation across print and digital channels, project management, social media management, and website management. The Communications and Marketing Coordinator collaborates with the Advancement team members and program staff across the agency to:

• Communicate our mission, vision, and values.
• Convey clear, accurate information that informs Neighborhood House supporters and participants about the agency's current programs, events, fundraising campaigns, and other initiatives and partnerships.
• Tell empowering, culturally sensitive stories.
• Reinforce the Neighborhood House brand and organizational voice.

This position is eligible for a flexible schedule and hybrid work. Growth opportunities are available to a successful candidate who demonstrates initiative and consistent success in the position. Essential Functions:

• Create engaging, informative content across a variety of channels, including e-news, fundraising campaigns, staff newsletters, social media, and agency blog.
• Assist the Director of Communications and Marketing and the Graphic Designer in project management.
• Manage Neighborhood House social media and maintains social media content calendar.
• Develop performance metrics and use analytics to evaluate and improve Neighborhood House's performance across social media and website.
• Manage and regularly update website content to provide accurate, compelling information that aligns with program objectives.
• Update communications through fundraising platforms during annual fund drive.
• Assist with time-sensitive community communications, such as facility closures, program updates, and severe weather notices.
• Provide virtual and in-person support for Neighborhood House fundraising events and initiatives.

Travel Requirements:

• 10% travel required. Must have the ability to travel between Neighborhood House sites and events in the St. Paul metro area.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or English or commensurate experience, preferably in a nonprofit or agency setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Copywriting or writing experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Creative and curious
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Intermediate familiarity with social media (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
• Basic to intermediate familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and Canva
