In this role, you will set up, program, and operate CNC equipment to manufacture precision metal components that meet strict quality standards. This opportunity offers a convenient 1st shift, 4-day workweek schedule along with weekly pay.What You Will DoSet up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines while maintaining optimal safety and equipment performance.Program CNC equipment to produce complex metal parts with precision.Accurately interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to establish job requirements.Perform machine calibration, tool changes, and fine adjustments to consistently hold tight tolerances.Promptly troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programming errors, or machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.Keep detailed documentation of setups, quality inspections, and production logs in line with quality standards.What You Will Bring1+ year Machinist with hands-on background operating, setting up, and programming CNC lathes and milling machines.Strong knowledge of CNC setup procedures, including fixture installation and tooling alignment.Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and experience using CAM software for toolpath generation and machine programming.Hands-on experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and CMMs.Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, grinders, and metal machining processes (milling, turning, grinding, EDM).Strong basic math skills required to calculate exact measurements and tolerances.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $28.00Apply NowAll compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
