PrideStaff is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company in West Palm Beach specializing in custom automation, machine design, material handling, and custom tooling. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Packing & Logistics Preparation: Accurately pack, label, crate, and vacuum-pack specialized machinery, components, and tools for safe domestic and international transport.
  • Documentation & Systems: Utilize internal ERP software and platform systems (UPS WorldShip / FedEx Manager) to generate accurate shipping documents, customs paperwork, and tracking labels.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing items against purchase orders and packing slips; verify weights, dimensions, and product counts to ensure shipment precision.
  • Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facility.
  • Inventory & Vendor Operations: Partner with the inventory team to organize incoming stock, monitor essential shipping supplies, and perform local outside-vendor pickups and drop-offs as needed.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing warehouse, shipping/receiving role, or logistics environment preferred.
  • Software Skills: Hands-on experience with shipping software (UPS/FedEx) and ERP/inventory tracking systems.
  • Logistics Knowledge: Solid grasp of standard domestic/international shipping standards, packing requirements, and compliance paperwork.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required for local vendor trips. Forklift certification is a strong plus.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable performing physical work including bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Safe, competent operation of warehouse material handling machinery.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
