OVERVIEW Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer, owning 155,000 acres of land, two sugar mills, a sugar refinery, a biomass renewable power plant, and a rice mill in Palm Beach County. The position is located at our facilities in western Palm Beach County. This program offers college graduates a unique opportunity to gain professional experience in the sugar industry and to develop skills within a growth‑oriented business. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 2‑year program leading to future career opportunities Maintain a strong technical knowledge of heavy, medium, and light duty equipment systems; read and interpret complex schematics and explain them to team members Communicate and coordinate maintenance and repair activities with outside contractors/vendor services and supervise their progress Maintain professional and courteous relationships with all departments within the company Communicate Human Resources policies and procedures to team members; support Florida Crystals Corporation’s Standards of Conduct/Work Rules Policy Assist in all maintenance planning and help supervise its execution WORK EXPERIENCES Ag Shop experience preferred EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university Above average GPA SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY Yes Be able to physically work in an industrial shop environment Must be able to lift 50 pounds or be able to stand/walk through an industrial environment for 5 hours a day Be legally eligible for employment in the United States without sponsorship LOCATION OF ROLE We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
