Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer Location: 25 Discovery Way Franklin, MA 02038 Shifts 1st shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Mid shift: Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 am – 6:30 pm 2nd shift: Sunday – Thursday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Rate of Pay: $20.62 /hr + shift differential (if applicable) + CDL differential (if applicable) What’s the Job? As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you will fuel, clean and ensure vehicles are safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske—the person greeting customers when they arrive and the one sending them off with a smile. Main Responsibilities Greet customers and ensure they have a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles. Perform vehicle readiness inspections to confirm tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are complete. Help keep our facilities clean and safe for customers and associates. Build your skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs. Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by a supervisor. Valid driver’s license required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work well as part of a team. Willingness to work outside. Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred). Basic computer skills. Understand and comply with specific instructions and guidelines established by Penske management. Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper use of tools, PPE, and machine guarding. Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential. Maintain a current driver qualification file, including an annual MVR check, DOT Physical, Safety Performance History, and, if applicable, a CDL drug screening and FMCSA clearinghouse review. Willingness to work the required schedule, at the specified location, complete Penske employment application, submit to background screening (criminal checks, past employment, education), pass a drug screen and physical, and travel within the local area for training. Regulated by the Department of Transportation; must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, accepting responsibility for own and others’ safety. Physical Requirements Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods. Use hands routinely to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, and operate tools or controls. Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms. Work in all weather conditions. Navegate the work area safely with adequate vision and hearing.
