The position is responsible for teaching nursing courses, supervising students including some late afternoon and evening clinical experiences, conducting pre-and post-clinical conferences, and will evaluate student progress, prepare written evaluations, and meet/advise with students. Other duties will include curriculum planning and revision; attending school and department meetings; and participating in college committees. He/she will maintain posted office hours; substitute as needed; and perform other tasks as assigned by the program director. Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited university program required. BSN who is currently enrolled in graduate coursework may be considered, however Master’s degree would need to be completed within 5 years from date of hire. Must hold current R.N. license issued by the New Mexico Board of Nursing, or in a Compact State, or be eligible for licensure in the State of New Mexico by endorsement.
