This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals who are comfortable working independently, managing their own schedules, communicating professionally with residents and clients, and completing work orders efficiently and to a high standard.

Position Overview

We are urgently hiring experienced General Handyman 1099 Independent Contractors who can service properties within approximately a 50-mile radius of Jacksonville, Florida .

The volume of work and earning potential will depend on your availability, experience, service area, and the number and complexity of work orders you accept.

Priority consideration will be given to contractors with a valid General Contractor License.

Handyman Scope of Work

The selected contractor may be responsible for a variety of general property maintenance, repair, installation, and property improvement tasks, including but not limited to:

Professional Communication

• Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and company representatives.

• Follow all applicable safety requirements.

• Use proper tools and equipment for each job.

Tools and Transportation

Contractors are responsible for providing:

• Their own professional hand tools and equipment.

• A reliable vehicle suitable for traveling throughout the service area.

Insurance Requirements

Contractors are required to maintain appropriate general liability insurance and provide proof of insurance when requested.

If you do not currently have liability insurance, you may be required to obtain coverage before beginning work.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Handyman or in property maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of general home and property repairs.

• Experience with drywall, painting, carpentry, doors, hardware, flooring, and general maintenance.

• Ability to troubleshoot problems and identify repair solutions.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Valid driver's license.

• Reliable transportation.

• Ability to travel within approximately a 50-mile radius of Jacksonville.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
