RN - Nursing Supervisor, Skilled Nursing

Overview Elderwood at Cheektowaga is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (RN) to join our clinical leadership team. Your leadership will help guide clinical operations and support nursing teams within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. Salary Up to $51 per hour. Role Overview As Nursing Supervisor, you will oversee nursing care delivery during your assigned shift, support nursing staff across units, respond to clinical and operational needs, and help ensure exceptional resident care and service excellence. Conduct rounds and provide clinical support and guidance to staff. Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely communication of changes. Assist with admissions, evaluations, care planning, and resident oversight. Support safe medication administration and treatment delivery. Assist with staffing coordination and assignment adjustments. Provide coaching, feedback, and support to nursing staff. Ensure documentation, workflows, and assignments are completed appropriately. Participate in shift‑to‑shift communication and operational updates. Promote a collaborative, respectful, team‑focused environment. Help maintain compliance with facility policies, CMS standards, and nursing regulations. Support infection prevention and facility safety initiatives. Assist with incident response, emergency procedures, and survey readiness. Participate in QAPI and performance improvement efforts. Qualifications State license to practice as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in the applicable state. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a nursing leadership role. Interest or experience in geriatrics. Current BLS/CPR certification. Experience with dementia population desirable. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) at an intermediate or advanced level.
