Procurement Analyst – Columbus, OH (Hybrid) Are you a purchasing or vendor management professional looking to apply your experience in a new, fulfilling role? Then this may be the role for you! Ohio Public Employees Retirement System is looking to add an experienced Procurement Analyst to our team! What You’ll Do This position supports procurement and vendor management activities ensuring compliance with OPERS Procurement and Vendor Management policies. The role works closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and Legal for contract administration and vendor oversight activities. This position exercises independent judgment in procurement decisions to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant service delivery. What You’ll Bring A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in a purchasing environment In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a total of 9 years of experience is required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Experience maintaining vendor records and facilitating vendor onboarding and due diligence processes, including documentation review and risk classification support. Experience implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance and service delivery. Experience in the public sector, government, or regulated environment is strongly preferred.
