Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join the A-MH (Air Dominance Proprietary) team in Hazelwood, Missouri . Position Responsibilities Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Shift This position is for 1st shift. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) More than 1 year of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management More than 1 year of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Bachelor’s degree or higher More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer More than 3 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts Typical Education/Experience: Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
