Job Description:Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architect to join our team in support of introduction of cloud like services in our on-premise datacenters . The candidate should possess a deep technical background in modern infrastructure deployment, management, and security practices.Responsibilities:Define and maintain enterprise guardrails, including naming standards, tagging policies, subscription/account structures and resource organization.Develop enterprise-level architecture standards for networking, IAM, security, regulatory, and operational requirements.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering, promoting good practices and adherence to architectural design standards.Work closely with IT product owners and business users to understand their needs and translate business requirements into technical solutionsDevelopment of IAM practices and RBAC model to integrate seamlessly with cloud platforms, applications, and automation frameworks.Define metrics, thresholds, and dashboards to provide platform level observabilityDesign a FinOps model providing transparency and enabling resource consumption chargeback.The Expertise and Skills You BringProven experience developing and executing multi-cloud strategies in AWS and Azure along with on-premise workloads.In-depth knowledge of distributed systems, virtualization, containerization and serverless architecture.Strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code , CI/CD pipelines, and platform engineering practices.Solid understanding of Zero Trust security principles and identity access managementAbility to provide high-quality visuals and documentation that conveys system architecture to various audiences.Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.Fidelity’s Onsite Working ModelFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
