Stepdown Registered Nurse | Euclid, Ohio

An exciting opportunity awaits experienced Registered Nurses in a Medical Step-Down setting. This contract position focuses on providing exceptional care to patients requiring the specialized attention of a step-down unit. Nurses in this role play a critical part in supporting patient recovery, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.


Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or other professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring Medical Step-Down level of care
• Continuously monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, interventions, and post-operative care per physician orders
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and other nursing team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs
• Support a safe, patient-centered environment
