Shift Details

• Schedule may include evenings, nights, or rotating shifts-specific hours provided at assignment.

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent stepdown experience (cardiac or thoracic experience preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess post-surgical cardiac and thoracic patients
• Administer medications and manage complex therapies (including drips)
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to clinical changes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document accurately and comply with established protocols
• Provide education and support to patients and families during recovery
