• Title: Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)

• Location: Petoskey, MI 49770
• Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000 annually (Based on experience) + Benefits

-> Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the rehabilitation department, ensuring high-quality therapy services.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, productivity, and clinical outcomes.
• Supervise and support therapy team members, including PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, and SLPs.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines, state regulations, and company standards.
• Monitor documentation quality, patient outcomes, and operational performance.
• Develop strong relationships with facility leadership, physicians, nursing teams, patients, and families.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Mentor and support clinical staff through education, coaching, and professional development.
• Manage department budgets, resources, and performance improvement initiatives.

-> Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) preferred.
• Active Michigan professional license in the applicable discipline.
• Previous leadership experience as a Director of Rehabilitation, Rehab Manager, Therapy Manager, or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Medicare Part A, Part B, and PDPM .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing interdisciplinary therapy teams.
