Manufacturing Technician II Danbury, CT - Entegris is currently seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join its Gas Operations production team. The role works as a key member of a small specialty gas production team and will also be a contributor to a larger operations group. The person in this role will take directions from a qualified Technician and report directly to the Production Supervisor. The environment is dynamic and fast‑paced where safety is paramount. The ideal candidate enjoys being part of a strong team, is dedicated to continuous improvement, and has experience working safely with hazardous materials while maintaining a focus on meeting and exceeding production goals. Primary Responsibilities Support new gas cylinder manufacturing, component functionality testing and quality checks. Support subassembly manufacturing via orbital welding (training and certification provided onsite). Support gas cylinder refurbishment, finished goods functionality testing and processing. Train and become proficient in all aspects of cylinder build, orbital welding for subassembly manufacturing, and subassembly component testing. Meet and exceed production demand while demonstrating a dedication to safety excellence. Desired Traits & Qualities Manufacturing background, experience processing and completing work orders per production schedule. Safely operate powered hand tools, measuring tools, gauges, welding equipment and media blasters. Experience working safely with hazardous materials, using PPE. Clean and maintain equipment and work areas (5S). Good time management skills. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office. Performance Metrics Dependable and consistent performance. Sense of urgency. Continuous improvement mindset. Completing quality work on or ahead of schedule. What We Seek High School Diploma or GED. 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work fully on site. Benefits Compensation: $23.50-$26.00 per hour with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
