Advanced EMTLocation: NHRMC Orthopedic Hospital - 5301 Wrightsville Avenue Wilmington, North Carolina 28403Schedule: 12 HR Rotating Shifts36 HRs per week- Full-timeThis position has access to and knowledge of extremely sensitive, private and confidential materials. Ability to maintain the highest standard is required with zero tolerance. The Advanced EMT provides high quality patient care and safe medical transport to sick and injured patients in all age groups, primarily in a non-emergent setting. Patient care will be consistent with approved treatment protocols. The Advanced EMT communicates and coordinates the patient's care in an interdisciplinary model.What We're Looking ForEducation: High School or GED, required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Successful completion of an approved Advanced EMT program (EMT-Intermediate prior to 2017), required.Experience: Minimum of one-year experience with a paid emergency services provider, preferred. Two years licensed driving experience, required.Licensure/Certification: Current North Carolina Advanced EMT (EMT-Intermediate prior to 2017), required. BCLS, required.
