Creative Content Coordinator

Role Description

The Creative Content Coordinator works with Bright Beginnings (BB) and Help Me Grow Central Intake and Referral (HMG CIR) staff to develop marketing and communications strategies consistent with goals and requirements. This includes:

• Developing messaging strategies
• Creating informational resources, newsletters, and digital communications
• Managing web content and social media accounts
• Organizing and supervising advertising efforts
• Preparing reports
• Providing oversight to marketing contractors

Partners with the BB and HMG CIR leadership teams in:

• Working with staff and subcontracted agencies in the implementation of Community Engagement/Outreach Plans and Strategic Plans
• Developing strategies to increase collaborations
• Conducting presentations

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of public relations, marketing, and/or branding work experience
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. word processing, electronic spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software); advanced skill level preferred
• Intermediate skill level in Adobe Creative Cloud, design software (i.e. Canva, Venngage, etc.), e-mail marketing software, and video editing software; advanced skill level preferred
• Experience with social media account management (i.e. Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.), advertising campaigns, content creation, and analytics; experience within the non-profit sector or social service preferred
• Experience with website content management systems
• Ability to resolve moderately complex problems
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with a particular emphasis on strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines; project management experience preferred
• Ability to manipulate and analyze data
• Ability to learn new skills, technology, and tasks
• Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills; must be self-motivated, proactive, and solution-focused
• Ability to tactfully and effectively deal with the public and staff in a personable and professional manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and appropriate insurance coverage
