CWR-Specialist, Billing I

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a CWR-Specialist, Billing I to join their team. As a CWR-Specialist, Billing I, you will be part of the Billing Department supporting the Customer Service and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CWR-Specialist, Billing I Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $18.5 Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM What's the Job? Review and analyze carrier freight bills to ensure accuracy and completeness. Proactively identify and resolve potential errors and duplicate billing issues. Facilitate the billing process of orders to customers, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers to gather necessary documentation. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the efficiency of the billing cycle from freight bill to customer payment. What's Needed? At least 1 year of experience in audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, load planning, or transportation/logistics. Experience with Microsoft Office applications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present clear, organized, and thorough information suitable for various audiences.
